Discovering The God Who Relentlessly Loves You

DISCOVERING THE GOD WHO RELENTLESSLY LOVES YOU

Love Unfiltered: Real, Raw and unReasonable for God – Part 1

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart…” Matthew 22:37

GOD’S “IMMUTABILITY”: _____________________.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  James 1:17 (NIV)

“… with [God] there is never the slightest variation or shadow of inconsistency.”  James 1:17 (PHILLIPS)

“I the LORD do not change!”  Malachi 3:6

THREE THINGS ABOUT GOD THAT NEVER CHANGE

(1) GOD’S LOVE NEVER CHANGES.

(God) “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”  Jeremiah 31:3

“Your love never changes, so save me!”  Psalm 119:159 (GNT)

POINT: I never need to DOUBT God’s Love.

“… nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God.”  Romans 8:38

(2) GOD’S WORD NEVER CHANGES.

“The grass withers, [and] flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.”  Isaiah 40:8 (TLB)

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35

“Long ago I learned from your statues that you established them to last forever.”  Psalm 119:152 (NIV)

POINT: I can RELY on His Word.

(3) GOD’S PURPOSE NEVER CHANGES.

“The LORD Almighty has sworn, `Surely as I have planned it, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.”  Isaiah 14:24 (NIV; KJV; NKJV)

“God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love him along the same lines as the life of his Son.”   Romans 8:29 (MSG)

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”   Romans 8:28 (NLT)

“… His plans endure forever; His purposes last eternally.”  Psalm 33:11 (GNT)

…. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”   2 Peter 3:9b (NIV)

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10 (NIV)

POINT: I need to DISCOVER, ACCEPT, AND LIVE OUT my God given purpose.

“Those who trust in the Lord are as steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance.”  Psalm 125:1 (TLB)
