THREE THINGS THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE

1. GOD’S NATURE AND CHARACTER WILL NEVER CHANGE

“I the LORD do not change…”  Malachi 3:6 (NIV)

He is infinite – Self existing – Without Origin (Colossians 1:17).
Eternal (Isa. 40:28), He is faithful (Deut 7:9)
Immutable (Mal 3:6), Merciful (Rom 9:15-16)
Omnipotent (Ps. 33:6), Gracious (Ps. 145:8)
Omniscient (Isa. 46:9-10), Holy (Rev. 4:8)
Omnipresent (Ps. 139:7-10), He is Immanent (Ps. 145:10)
Omnibenevolent (Ps. 106:1), Wise (Rom 11:33)
He is Just (Deut. 32:4)

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”  Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

“… I have loved you with an everlasting love…”  Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)

“… Your love never changes…”  Psalm 119:159 (GNT)

2. GOD’S WORD WILL NEVER CHANGE.

“The grass withers, and flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.”  Isaiah 40:8 (TLB)

“Long ago I learned from Your statues that You established them to last forever.”  Psalm 119:152 (NIV)

Jesus said it like this: “Heaven and earth will pass away but My word will never pass away.”   Matthew 24:35

“… Everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24 (NIV)

3. GOD’S PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE WILL NEVER CHANGE.

“… [God] is not a [man] — He does not change His mind.”  1 Samuel 15:29 (GNT)

“His plans endure forever; His purposes last eternally.”  Psalm 33:11

“You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.”   Proverbs 19:21 (NLT)

“… We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”  Romans 8:28 (NIV)

“I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?”   Psalm 56:11 (NLT)

“God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear even if the world blows up and the mountains crumble into the sea.”  Psalm 46:1-2 (TLB)
